The 5 Most Common Issues I Treat

Chronic pain and movement dysfunction in adults usually traces back to one of these.

Most of my clients in Ann Arbor come to me with at least one. Many have been managing it for years without the right intervention.

Knee Pain
Osteoarthritis, ACL recovery, valgus collapse, patellar tracking
Back Pain
Chronic low back pain, disc degeneration, nerve involvement
Shoulder Injury
Instability, impingement, rotator cuff compensation
Ankle Instability
Chronic sprains, Achilles tendinopathy, dorsiflexion loss
Hip Impingement
FAI, labral wear, flexor restriction, guarding patterns

Left alone, these patterns compound. Compensations travel up and down the chain. The earlier you address them, the simpler the fix.

Corrective Exercise Services

I pick up exactly where physical therapy leaves off.

Physical therapy resolves the acute issue. I rebuild functional strength, joint stability, and movement confidence on top of that foundation. Every session is designed around your body and your assessment findings.

Load Management

Every exercise dosed to your current capacity. Progressive, controlled loading that builds joint resilience over time.

Movement Quality Assessment

Functional screening to identify compensations, asymmetries, and dysfunction. I correct the underlying pattern, not the surface-level symptom.

Joint Stability & Proprioception

Targeted knee and ankle stability protocols, balance training, and single-leg work to restore confidence and reduce fall risk.

Range of Motion Restoration

Targeted tissue release, activation sequencing, and integrated mobility work that produces lasting range improvements.

I come to your home for a comprehensive movement assessment. We go through your history, your limitations, and a functional screen so we both understand exactly where your body is right now.

2

Your Program

I design a corrective exercise program based entirely on your assessment findings. Every exercise is selected for your body, your goals, and your current capacity.

3

We Train Together

I train you in your home on a schedule that works for you. As your body improves, the program evolves. You get stronger, more mobile, and more confident in how you move.

About Your Trainer

Lee Grayson

I’ve been training people for over 12 years, from big box gym floors to private studios to the setup I run now: one-on-one corrective exercise, delivered to your home across Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan. Early in my career I was focused on aesthetics and performance. Over time, I realized the clients who needed me most were the ones dealing with pain, stiffness, and movement they couldn’t trust. That became my focus.

I specialize in identifying why your body compensates, resolving the root cause through corrective exercise, and building functional strength on a stable foundation. I bring everything we need. Every session is programmed to your assessment, and the program adapts as your body changes.
